What does the value "n.a." mean - cannot be evaluated?

Modified on Tue, 20 Sep 2022 at 03:40 PM

Unfortunately, the culture media of your water samples could not be evaluated due to an accompanying flora, as they grew faster than the parameter to be tested. Unfortunately, due to this, there are no resources left for this parameter. According to the German Environment Agency, “could not be analysed” must be stated as the correct result in this case.

However, most of the germs in the water that lead to overgrowth are not harmful to health. The overgrowth of the breeding ground does not necessarily indicate the presence of any pathogens.

Important information: Your sample has been analysed correctly. Unfortunately, all incidents that can lead to a result that cannot be analysed are out of our hands.
